Youth Basketball Scholarship & Development Program

Rising Hoops Youth Scholarship Program

Overview: The Rising Hoops Youth Scholarship Program is designed to provide underserved youth with access to organized basketball training, competitive play, and mentorship opportunities. The program removes financial barriers by offering scholarships that cover registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and travel costs, while also promoting discipline, teamwork, and personal development. Target Population: Youth ages 8–18 from low-income households, with priority given to those facing financial hardship or limited access to extracurricular activities. Core Services: Full and partial scholarships for league participation and training programs Access to experienced coaches and structured skill development sessions Mentorship focused on leadership, accountability, and goal-setting Academic encouragement through grade check-ins and incentives Exposure opportunities through tournaments and community events Program Goals: Increase access to structured youth sports Improve physical health and social development Strengthen self-confidence and leadership skills Promote academic engagement alongside athletics Expected Outcomes: Increased participation in youth sports among underserved populations Improved teamwork, discipline, and social skills Higher levels of school engagement and attendance

Youth Transitional Housing & Stability Program

Safe Steps Youth Housing Program

Overview: The Safe Steps Youth Housing Program provides safe, stable, and supportive housing for youth experiencing housing instability or at risk of homelessness. The program combines housing with wraparound services to support long-term stability, education, and independence. Target Population: Youth and young adults ages 16–24 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, aging out of foster care, or experiencing unstable living conditions. Core Services: Short-term and transitional housing placements Case management and individualized service planning Life skills training (budgeting, employment readiness, independent living) Educational and workforce development support Mental health and supportive services referrals Assistance with permanent housing placement Program Goals: Provide immediate housing stability for vulnerable youth Reduce youth homelessness and housing insecurity Support transition to independent and self-sufficient living Improve access to education and employment opportunities Expected Outcomes: Increased housing stability and reduced homelessness among participants Improved employment and education outcomes Successful transition to permanent housing

Youth Workforce & Life Skills Development Program

Pathways to Purpose Youth Workforce Program

Overview: The Pathways to Purpose Program prepares youth and young adults for long-term success through workforce development, career exploration, and life skills training. The program focuses on equipping participants with practical skills, job readiness, and exposure to career pathways aligned with local labor market demand. Target Population: Youth and young adults ages 16–24 who are unemployed, underemployed, or at risk of disconnection from school or workforce systems. Core Services: Job readiness training (resume building, interview skills, workplace behavior) Career exploration and industry exposure (healthcare, trades, administration) Paid or unpaid work-based learning opportunities Financial literacy and life skills education Supportive services to address barriers (transportation, resources, referrals) Program Goals: Increase youth employment and career readiness Provide access to sustainable career pathways Strengthen confidence and independence among participants Reduce barriers to workforce entry Expected Outcomes: Increased job placement and retention rates Improved workforce readiness skills Higher rates of continued education or training
